Skingen is a specialised boutique skincare clinic, nestled in the private setting of The Alphen Estate in Constantia, Cape Town. Tamarah Renecle, Owner and Skingen’s Skin Expert created this highly specialised Aesthetic Clinic after years of experience in the industry, working with leading brands and Medical Aesthetic Doctors and Therapists.
Skingen has collaborated together with Dr Bianca Le Feuvre at her practice, Alphen Aesthetics, in order to create a highly experienced environment where skincare can be treated hollistically and synergistally where the aim is to treat your skin attentively in a beautifully discrete environment.
Tamarah and Dr Bianca create individualised treatment plans for each patient in order to create a personalised, result driven experience.

DERMAPEN
DERMAPEN otherwise known as microneedling, is a procedure that uses small needles to prick the skin, producing tiny channels that lead into the dermis. The purpose of this treatment is to generate new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin. Microneedling is used to treat scarring, enlarged pores, uneven tone and texture and general ageing in the skin.
CHEMICAL PEELS
A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that is exposed after a chemical peel is smoother and younger-looking. Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, skin discoloration and acne — typically on the face but can also be done on the body.
DERMAPLANING
A wonderful mechanical exfoliation that will leave your skin smooth and glowing. A surgical scalpel is used to scrape off the dead skin layers. This will increase cell turnover and promote the penetration of serums and skin actives. Useful for ageing and congested skins and perfect just before any special occasion. No downtime and discomfort is to be expected
ELLIPSE IPL

PLASMA
A high frequency plasma generating device is used to sublimate any unwanted benign skin growths or lesions such as skin tags, warts, fleshy moles & DPN’s. It is also used with great success to tighten skin and reduce wrinkles in localised areas such as the eye area and mouth area. It is highly effective to improve the appearance of scarring and stretch marks as well. Downtime is to be expected.
IPL Permanent Hair Reduction
The unique Ellipse IPL system carefully filters light in two ways to ensure that only light with the correct characteristics (wavelength) is allowed to reach your skin. Hair contains pigment that absorbs the light and converts it to heat. The hair transmits this heat into the hair follicle which is then destroyed and unable to produce a new hair
